Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow

posted 21 Jan 2013, 04:07 by Joshua Monteiro
God tells his sinful people that at the start of Isaiah. Snow covers over mud and grass, over beautiful gardens and building sites. What is underneath is covered overby the purity and beauty and snow. And that is a picture of how our sins are covered over. We apprach God clothes not in our own deeds (whether we have a had a good or a bad week). We appraoch God clothed in Christ, the pure spotless righteous one. The snow may be a pain when it blocks the road. But how great it is that our sinns are covered up and we approach the Father as children he sees as pure and beautiful.
